The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Syracuse, New York has an opening for a full-time Academic General Gastroenterologist. Candidates must be BC in Internal Medicine in addition to BC/BE in Gastroenterology and have experience in capsule endoscopy, GI manometry, impedance PH testing, radio frequency ablation, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP and biliary interventional procedures. The medical center offers state-of-the-art equipment including newly acquired ultrasound capability. A new endoscopic/clinical suite is included in a 95 million dollar clinical addition. Commitment to clinical research is strongly encouraged. Will consider candidates who will be completing Gastroenterology fellowship training or becoming board eligible in June 2014. You must qualify for an academic appointment at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
