The Canandaigua, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting for a Psychiatrist to provide direct psychiatric care in a patient-centric and multi-disciplinary environment at the Canandaigua Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Rochester Outpatient Clinic. Both locations are affiliated with the University of Rochester and are part of the Upstate New York Veterans Health Care Network. Specific duties will include management of patients with general psychiatric conditions including but not limited to post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, psychotic disorder and addictive disorders. Addiction Therapy is preferred. A valid and unrestricted DEA permit to administer suboxone therapy to opiate dependent patients is preferred.
