Currently recruiting for a staff Physiatrist at the Canandaigua, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Requires board certification in PM&RS as well as experience and board certification or eligibility in pain management and spinal cord injury care. Pain management experience must include medication management and working with an interdisciplinary pain team. Ideal candidate will have had experience and expertise performing different modalities of pain management including: administering Spinal Epidurals, facet injections, Radiofrequency ablations, peripheral nerve blocks, peripheral joint and bursa injections, EMGS, Ultrasound guided joint and peripheral nerve injections, sympathetic chain injections, chemo-denervation injections for spasticity and rigidity, implanted intrathecal pump management, intrathecal medication administration, and implantable spinal cord stimulators. Incumbent will also manage plans of care for patients with Spinal Cord Injuries, Spinal Cord Disease, Musculoskeletal related pain and Spasticity Management.
