St. Peter's Health Partners has excellent full time employment opportunities for Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalists to join an employed Hospital group within an expanding health system located in the Capital District of New York.
The Hospitalist group includes both physicians and Advanced Practice Providers and is responsible for treating adults of all ages. The group enjoys access to sub-specialty care within the community and providers are able to work in a variety of settings among St. Peter Health Partner system locations.
These are full time, hospital employed opportunities that are available for immediate placement within St. Peters Hospital, in Albany, New York and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York.
St. Peters Hospital is a 442 bed facility with a closed ICU and an average daily census of 15 to 18 patients. There is an opportunity for Hospitalists to teach Family Medicine residents, if desired. Schedule requirements at St. Peter's Hospital include two weekends monthly and nine to twelve overnights annually.
Samaritan Hospital is a 185 bed facility with an open ICU and an average daily census of 15 patients. The schedule for this opportunity is three weeks on/ one week off. There is an opportunity for Hospitalist to teach medical students, if desired. Preference will be shown to candidates who possess procedural skills.
These opportunities are able to offer flexible scheduling. There are needs for all shifts and schedules. Block scheduling is available, as are 10-hour shifts, etc.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess one to five years of Hospitalist experience.
