Cleveland Clinic Children’s announces a search for TWO Child/Pediatric Psychologists in the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health. The positions expand our Population Health initiative through enhancing integrated primary care pediatrics in two of our many Family Health Centers. 

 Description: The primary role of the psychologist is patient care, specifically through developing clinical care paths and implementing treatment protocols in an integrated primary care setting. This includes:

  • Psychosocial screening with well-child care, brief consultations and educational appointments, and individual/group interventions
  • Work supervision for master’s level trained clinician(s)
  • Training supervision for psychology residents and fellows
  • Collaboration with other psychologists to develop enhanced screening methods, consultations to physicians, brief and group interventions for high-frequency conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depressed mood, behavioral concerns
  • Treatment in a specialty interest for the psychologist

 Additional experiences include participation in multidisciplinary clinics, teaching medical student/residents/fellows, teaching psychology residents/fellows.  Employment in the Cleveland Clinic allows for further opportunities in research, program development, and program implementation. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Qualifications: Doctorate in clinical, developmental or educational psychology, with APA-approved internship, licensure in Ohio and at least one year of post-doctoral experience in child clinical or pediatric psychology setting.
