Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa (MMC-NI) has an excellent full time opportunity for a Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join a faculty of six Board Certified Family Medicine physicians, a behavioral science coordinator and a PharmD, teaching in an 18-resident community-based, university-affiliated program located in Mason City, Iowa.
The Internal Medicine Residency Program is a three-year ACGME accredited program with six residents in each postgraduate level. Inpatient training is provided by hospitalists, cardiologists, critical care physicians and other specialists.
The program combines the unique educational opportunities of a secondary referral hospital with the additional advantage of a formal affiliation agreement with the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for the educational opportunities of a large university tertiary care center.

Candidates for this opportunity must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified in Family Medicine. Faculty experience is preferred. The selected candidate must be able to obtain MMC-NI medical staff privileges.
