Position Information

 

The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), Las Vegas Nevada, is searching for well qualified Board Certified Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon, to join our Surgical Care Line team, reporting to the Chief of Surgery. Per the American Academy of Otolaryngology of Head and Neck Surgery, otolaryngology physicians are trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat (ENT) and related structures of the head and neck. Otolaryngologists diagnose and manage diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx, mouth and throat as well as structures of the neck and face. Competence in the in-tumor surgery is required. Otolaryngology Surgery has been prominent in the development of innovative techniques in head and neck surgery. The foundation of surgical anatomy, physiology, pathology, and other basic sciences is fundamental to this specialty. Competency in otolaryngology surgery implies a special combination of basic knowledge, surgical judgment, technical expertise, ethics, and interpersonal skills to achieve satisfactory patient relationships and problem resolution.

  • Must be a Citizen of the United States
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (BC Preferred)
  • Must have current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.

Benefits and Features

 

Expected Salary range for well qualified Otolaryngologist, Head & Neck Surgeon, will range from $280,000.00 to $320,000.00, with additional consideration of Recruitment and/or Relocation Incentive for well qualified candidate.
