The Division of Intra-Abdominal Transplantation, at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine is searching for an outstanding, highly motivated individual to become the fifth surgeon on the Transplant team. Loyola will perform more than 150 transplants this year (>100 kidneys and >50 livers) and is expanding all of the solid organ programs and adding significantly to the living donor liver program.
The Division is seeking a surgeon with interest in career advancement through mentoring and focused professional development.
Three to five years of post fellowship transplant experience, as well as the ability to perform liver and kidney transplants independently is required. Preference will be shown to candidates who possess the ability to perform live donor nephrectomy and pancreas transplantations.
