In 2017, despite the overall volume increase, the ED maintained an exceptionally low rate of elopements averaging 0.5% Left Without Being Seen! The ED also enjoys one of the highest Patient Satisfaction ratings in South Florida with our most recent report card indicating that 99% of patients seen in our ED are likely to recommend Jupiter Medical Center to friends and family for care! ED Physicians and Nurses at Jupiter Medical Center are in the ninetieth plus percentile top box ranking and received an award from Healthstream for the highest patient satisfaction ranking in the region. One of the ways we’ve accomplished streamlining care and reducing the elopement rate is by placing a physician in triage during peak volume hours.
