The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in beautiful Iron Mountain Michigan is looking to add a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the management of educational programing. This position will be responsible for all health professions training as an education leader in providing oversight of all trainees, including graduate medical; management of all clinical training program affiliations; education activities for graduate training programs in medicine or psychology. Duties include Veteran patient care, including particularly as the attending or record/faculty member for patients seen by medical trainees. Additional duties include Didactic Sessions; educational activities; research; literature searches; assigned independent study; attendance at committee meetings (e.g., quality improve or pharmacy committees; participation in root cause analysis teams; scholarly activities as part of an accredited training program; and approved educational details.
