The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in beautiful Iron Mountain Michigan has an opportunity for a Chief of Primary Care. The Chief of Primary Care is a diverse clinical area that requires a qualified provider to have a diversified background and expertise in the treatment of complex, complicated chronic conditions as well as an understanding of Service Connected conditions. The Chief of Primary Care must have strong leadership skills, and understand the electronic medical record, to include various packages such as, pharmacy, lab, radiology, etc. Strong communication skills are necessary. Ability to perform data collection, with interpretation of and to include performance measures.
