Lung Transplant Pulmonologist Position
The Respiratory Institute at Cleveland Clinic is recruiting a BC/BE pulmonologist to join our nationally renowned Lung Transplant Program. This program is one of the largest and most experienced centers in the country, having performed 129 transplants in 2017 and over 1700 since inception. The program serves as a national referral center for patients with complex lung disease, many of whom have been denied candidacy at other transplant centers. ECMO and ex vivo lung perfusion initiatives are in place to maximize transplant opportunities for patients. Members of the transplant program are engaged in research and scholarship, and our program is an active participant in the NIH-sponsored CTOT consortium and CF Transplant Consortium.
We invite applications from highly qualified BC/BE candidates with expertise in the care of lung transplant recipients and the evaluation of lung transplant candidates. Academic appointments are available through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
