OhioHealth Heart & Vascular Physicians has an opportunity for an Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist in Cambridge, Ohio. The hired physician will be responsible for the evaluation of cardiology patients in the outpatient clinic and in-hospital consultations. This candidate should be proficient in the bedside evaluation of patients and have good communication skills, as well as perform or interpret a wide array of diagnostic testing. These would include echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, exercise or pharmacologic nuclear stress tests, tilt table testing, transesophageal echocardiography with cardioversion. The ability to do diagnostic heart catheterizations on low-risk patients is highly desirable but not mandatory.
The Cardiology Clinic has the proficient support of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and a robust office support staff. Physician on-call is 1 in 2 with support from OhioHealth Cardiovascular Physicians.
