The VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS), American Lake Campus in Tacoma, WA and the University of Washington (UW), Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, are recruiting a Physiatrist for Rehabilitation Care Services. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary outpatient general rehabilitation program at VAPSCHS, in collaboration with clinicians from other departments and a highly skilled rehabilitation staff, improving care and access to services both locally and regionally.
The qualified candidate is a PM&R physician with an MD or DO, who has completed residency training in an accredited program and has completed Board Certification by the American Board of PM&R or, is eligible for Board Certification. If Board eligible, Board Certification is required at the earliest available time after meeting the necessary board requirements. Additional sub specialty board certifications in pain medicine and/or sports medicine is highly desired. Licensure to practice medicine in any state of the United States is required.
