Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) and Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa (SAMC - N) have an excellent opportunity for an Interventional Cardiology physician to join and support an existing cardiology program in Nampa, Idaho.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 450+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist to be part of a seven member cardiology practice in Nampa. Currently the group consists of three Interventional Cardiologists, three Invasive Cardiologists and a Nurse Practitioner. The Nampa practice is part of a larger, employed and integrated 15 member Cardiology team reaching across the health system. Cardiologists participate with hospital administration in managing the cardiovascular service line collaboratively. SAMG, with primary and specialty care providers at 74 clinic locations, is also a member of the Saint Alphonsus Health Alliance, a network of over 1,800 employed and independent providers.
The Saint Alphonsus Heart Institute is an outstanding comprehensive cardiovascular program with many other differentiating services which include an accredited Chest Pain center, a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center, a Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery program, a CVOR that operated on over 400 patients last year, a CV Research program, advanced EP lab with Stereotaxis robotics, and a Women’s Heart Care Program.
The primary location for this opportunity is the Garrity campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center, Nampa. Visits to outreach clinics one to two times per month may be required at other health system sites within two hour drive time of Boise, Idaho. The schedule for this program is primarily a traditional weekday schedule with call shared equitably with other Interventional Cardiologists. The call is currently 1:4 with the opportunity for paid excess call coverage.
