Trinity Health Of New England - the region’s largest nonprofit health system - has an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurology physician who specializes in Multiple Sclerosis to join an established practice with Saint Mary's Hospital, based in Waterbury, Connecticut.
In this high-level position, the selected provider will have a full Multiple Sclerosis focused practice with the opportunity to pursue an active leadership role. The selected candidate will work within the renowned Mandell Center for Multiple Sclerosis, a new facility located within Saint Mary’s Hospital. The Mandell Center has a nationally-recognized team of Multiple Sclerosis specialists and the selected physician will help expand its exceptional integrity and high-quality care into southern Connecticut.
The original Mandell Multiple Sclerosis Center in Hartford, Connecticut is long-recognized as a Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Partners in Multiple Sclerosis Care program. Collaborate with urologists, physiatrists, rehabilitation therapists, social workers and a dedicated infusion suite - all on-site - to optimize patient care. This convenient care model eliminates unnecessary travel and wait time. For interested candidates, this is an excellent opportunity to pursue research, studies and trials.
The selected candidate, while based in Waterbury, will be flexible to location and be willing to occasionally travel to the Hartford Center when needed.
Candidates who are mid to late career with extensive Multiple Sclerosis experience and those newer to the practice of medicine who are Fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis or Neuroimmunology are encouraged to apply.
