Cleveland Clinic has an opening for a Clinical Associate staff position in Diagnostic Radiological Physics. Candidates must be American Board of Radiology (ABR) board eligible in Diagnostic Radiological Physics. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of a M.S. degree or equivalent in Medical Physics, Physics or a related discipline and have at least 2 years of experience. Experience gained through a CAMPEP accredited residency program may be considered.
The emphasis of this position is clinical medical imaging, including evaluation, integration, quality assurance and safe use of diagnostic imaging equipment, including; general-x-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, computed tomography and non-ionizing imaging equipment (i.e., Magnetic Resonance and ultrasound). Familiarity with radiation measurement instrumentation, electronic test equipment, radiation monitors, and dosimetry equipment (including ionization chambers and luminescent dosimeters) is expected, as well as experience with medical imaging workstations. Experience in the development and oversight of hospital based Imaging Department Quality Assurance Programs is preferred. Up to 25% overnight travel may be required.
