Mercy Cancer Center and Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncology physician to join a beautiful, comprehensive Cancer Center located in Mason City, Iowa.
Mercy Cancer Center is beginning a $10 Million expansion/ renovation for this growing practice. The incoming Radiation Oncologist will join another Radiation Oncologist, four Medical Oncologists and three APP's in this patient friendly practice. The progressive Cancer Center is actively developing Survivorship and Genetics programs to better serve patients.
Providers with Mercy Cancer Center enjoy a reasonable weekly schedule with fair hours complemented with an attractive call schedule. The average census for the Radiation Oncologist is approximately two consults and twelve follow up appointments daily. Providers are typically supported by a nurse as well as a medical assistant.
Mercy Cancer Center is anticipating a transition from Mosaiq EMR to Epic by April 2021 that they are very excited about.
