Seeking BC Dermatologist for Excellent VA Staff Opportunity in Beautiful Loma Linda CA

 

Position Information

 

The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff Dermatologist (BE considered) to provide comprehensive outpatient & inpatient dermatologic service including photo therapy, patch testing, specialized & general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology & tele-dermatology. Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment within the Department of Dermatology at Loma Linda University, & be involved with education & teaching of medical students, residents & other providers. Provider will participate in electronic consultations (e-consult) to improve access to dermatology care as well as increase use of Specialty Care Access Network-Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (SCAN-ECHO) to foster education & improve care. Will work collaboratively with the primary care provider staff & provide dermatology training as requested. The VALLHS is a Joint Commission accredited, referral level 1b/high complexity, 270 bed facility serving veterans in San Bernardino, Riverside and Inyo Counties (Inland Empire) which encompasses over 35,000 square miles. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, (May be required to work evenings or weekends as a 24/7 Full-Time Physician).

  • Must be U.S. Citizen – Non-US Citizens may be considered
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • Board Certification in Dermatology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered

The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is part of the Desert Pacific Healthcare Network. The Healthcare System is comprised of the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center and six community clinics located in Blythe, Corona, Palm Desert, Rancho Cucamonga, Murrieta and Victorville, and a newly opened 340,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Center in Redlands CA. Opened in 1977, the Medical Center is named in memory of Congressman Jerry L. Pettis, who worked diligently to locate the facility in Loma Linda. Loma Linda CA is located one hour to the east of Los Angeles and one hour west of Palm Springs. Benefits and Features

 

Expected Salary range for well qualified BC Dermatologist Physician will range from $260,000.00 to $280,000.00 and include industry leading full benefits and features package to support high quality professional practice and favorable work-life-family balance.
