Primary Care Physician needed to care for our Veterans - Great Benefits!

The Fredericksburg Virginia, VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is currently seeking Primary Care Physicians who are BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. The selected candidates will manage a 1200 patient panel. Individuals must be able to work well with a team.

Patient appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments for follow-up patients and 1 hour for initial patients. As an employee of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), you will join a collegial group of providers practicing a rewarding brand of medicine while caring for the Veteran population in central North Carolina. 

Work Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Salary Range: $215,000 to $225,000 per year

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  
 
Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Non-citizens will be considered if a qualified US citizen is not available.  

Licensure and Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia. 

Education: Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE: Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Applicants must, therefore, only report attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
