Envision Physician Services is searching for a Full­-Time Emergency Medicine Physician ­to join our prestigious practice at Coliseum Northside Hospital located in Macon, Georgia. Located in the Heart of Georgia, Macon is the 4th largest city in the state, and just over a 60-minute drive from Atlanta.

Position Details

  • Independent contractor status
  • Competitive compensation
  • Sign on bonus and relocation assistance offered
  • 22,000 annual visits
  • 30 hours physician coverage
    • 10-hour shifts: 7 a-5p; 12:30p-10:30a; 9p-7a
  • 36 hours APP coverage
  • 13-bed ED
  • Separate, 5-bed Pediatric ED with an annual volume of 7,000 visits and 12 hours physician coverage
  • Hospitalist program managed by Envision Physician Services
  • 10-bed ICU (typically 4-6 patients)
  • Radiology with 24-hr reads (CT, MRI, X-Ray, US)
  • Specialty Services:­ ORS, GS, U, CD, N (tele-stroke)
  • Full-time physicians will work in both hospitals in the Coliseum Health System
