Envision Physician Services is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our busy practice covering 6 Banner Health facilities as the Director of Allied Health (DAH). The practice prides itself in delivering quality excellence, continued education and work-life balance. Three of the NICUs boast delivery volumes greater than 4000/year, and the level 3B facility over 5000 with a continuous MFM referral base. Our collaborative team consists of over 30 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who provide 24 hour in-house coverage at each facility. You would join a collegial team of Neonatologists and NNPs who are dedicated to achieving the best patient outcomes by implementing and practicing evidence based medicine. In collaboration with the Regional Medical Director and Operations Team, the DAH will supervise the NNP Facility Team Leads, Scheduler, and Educator. The DAH is responsible to provide leadership and direction in accordance with local and organizations goals, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the Allied Health team, including recruitment and retention, protocols and guidelines, scheduling guidelines, and the ongoing skills development and education of the team. The DAH regularly and effectively receives feedback from and communicates to the team. This position oversees staffing guidelines and works with the Scheduler to ensure appropriate coverage at all sites as well as collaborates with the Educator to create and execute a robust, ongoing education program. The DAH supports the Facility Team Leads with coaching and counseling and performs coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Partner with Regional Medical Director and Operations Team to oversee the provision of care and personnel management of the NNP team
- Oversee & empower NNP Leadership team to provide the best care to infants and partnership to the hospitals
- Provide direction and leadership to Allied health team, implementing plans for ongoing improvements in care, skills development, personnel development and retention.
- Resolve issues in conjunction with Regional Medical Director that escalate beyond Facility Medical Directors and NNP Team Leaders.
