The Washington D.C VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with special interest in Headache and Pain Management. The ideal candidate will have experience treating refractory headaches with all modalities including Botulinum Toxin Injections Main responsibilities include the management of patients within a weekly headache clinic and a weekly Botulinum Toxin clinic focused on headache treatment. Participates in the general neurology clinic and actively participates in the Neurology Resident clinics which includes oversight, clinical care and education/training. Takes turns covering the inpatient neurology ward and neurology consult service, overseeing and educating residents/students that may involve clinical care/oversight on weekends. Academic Affiliations are maintained with George Washington University Medical Center, Georgetown, Howard and Uniformed Services University Health Sciences. More than 200 medical residents receive part of their training at this facility every year. U.S. Citizenship, a full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license, and BC/BE in Neurology are required.
