The Department of Neurosurgery in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full time, neurosurgeon to lead a team of multi-disciplinary providers at our regional neurosurgical practices in Northeast Ohio.
The Vice-Chair will report directly to the Chair focusing on regional neurosurgical growth and program excellence using a patient-focused, disease-specific approach to neurological care. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated clinical excellence, experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as well as quality/continuous improvement work. Innovative and collaborative leadership approach is preferred. The primary practice location will be at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute at Hillcrest Hospital which boasts a Level II Trauma Center.

The applicant must be a board-certified neurosurgeon who has a practice focus in the areas of spine, trauma, and general neurosurgery. The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call. Call is on average 1:6 with primary call covered by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and resident team. Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities.
