Certified Nurse Midwife - Obstetrics & Gynecology

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the Center For Health Servcies- Women's in Toledo, Ohio.

• 3600+ births / year 

• Teaching facility for NP & Midwifery students 

• 13 midwives in group - 8 practice, 5 triage

• Privileges at Toledo Hospital 

• 16 hr - Clinic / Office time ; 24 hr - Hospital rounding 

• Weekly schedule variable on practice needs (typically 2 8hr office days, 1 24 hr in house on call or 2 12 hour in house on call shifts) 

• Responsibilities: all triage, labor management, deliveries, NICU in house 

• Women's Health and OB/GYN Full Scope Practice with a volume of 12-18 patients per day

• 60% Inpatient, 40% Outpatient

Requirements:

• Master of Nursing (MSN) degree

• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state where care is provided.

• Certificate of Authority to practice is required

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to the role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
