Gastroenterology - Motility Focus
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a Gastroenterologist with Motility Focus to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice, and research including multiple NIH grants and two NIH Center grants.
Our divisions motility center has broad expertise in gastroparesis diagnosis and management with gastric stimulators.
Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in gastroenterology and have had clinical experience or research interest in GI motility.
Position Responsibilities
Teaching
Teaching responsibilities include participation in lectures and seminars, bedside and endoscopic teaching of residents and students.
Service
Will interact with division chief and faculty for the development and implantation of future growth in the field of GI motility.
Clinical
Clinical practice includes hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and office-based patient care. The primary focus of this position will be in foregut (gastric and small bowel) motility disorders and their treatment.
Research
