Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric Medicine

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: 3+ years experience as advanced provider in an acute care setting or with palliative care and hospice 
• Geriatric certification required or obtain within 1 year
• Must have passion for palliative care, hospice and the geriatric population

Responsibilities

• Practice autonomously and provide symptom management of really sick patients
• Symptom management, chronic disease management, goals of care, advanced care planning
• 100% inpatient, round on inpatient hospice patients M-F
• 6 patients/day, 5 day workweek, 8am-5pm, rotating on-call
• Hospitalists admit, Open ICU

Compensation

• Base salary plus wRVU, 200 hours of vacation/CME, 6 days paid holidays, birthday pay, sick leave accrual up to 600 hours
