Pediatric Neurologist, AdventHealth for Children
The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for a dynamic and energetic pediatric neurologist to join a fast-growing multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience program to help further develop general and subspecialty neuroscience programs. This position would focus primarily on general neurology or neuromuscular disorders.
Currently, the pediatric neuroscience center at AdventHealth for Children has a level IV comprehensive epilepsy center, headache clinic, sleep center, multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis clinic, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex clinic, congenital neurosurgery clinic, and craniofacial clinic supported by a strong group of neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and neuropsychologists. The hospital has 12 pediatric hard-wired EEG beds in the neuroscience inpatient unit. Diagnostic facility includes a state-of-art intra-operative 3T MRIs, PET, SPECT, and MEG center.
Responsibilities of the new physician will include our comprehensive general neurology service in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Subspecialty training is preferable, but not required. Subspecialty program can be developed based on the interests of candidates : neuromuscular, neonatal, stroke, movement disorder, and spasticity clinic).

Requirements of the position:
- Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in pediatric neurology and/or pediatric neuromuscular disorders.
- Current FL license, or ability to obtain
- Strong communication skills with patient first mindset
