Physician - Orthopedic Surgery

Astera Health is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon in Wadena, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. General Orthopedic, Fellowship trained in Foot/Ankle. Special interest in diabetic foot/wound care. Investment in area, reside within 60 minutes.

Practice Overview:

• We opened a new hospital in March 2023 that includes 4 surgery suites/1 Endo Room with potential to add second Endo Suite.
• Practice setting: Hospital setting. We are planning for a DaVinci in 2024. EMR is Epic.
• Volumes of current providers: Over 5 K December of 2023.
• Support staff: We have four full-time CRNAs and each doctor has their own nurse and scheduling.
• Schedule: 4 days/week, work Fridays. 2 clinic, 2 OR
• Call schedule: None.
• 8 Circulating RNs: Two have over 18 years of experience.
• 6 Certified Surgical Technologist: Two have over 15 years of experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $ based on experience. No bonus structure. Competitive Salary Negotiations
