Physician - Anesthesiology

The Beckley Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), located in Beckley, WV, is a 30-bed general medical and surgical facility with a 50-bed Community Living Center (CLC). 

We are seeking a highly motivated Anesthesiologist who shares our commitment to providing excellent care to our US veterans.

The Beckley VAMC is small enough to connect with the patients but big enough to still have some of the newest equipment available.  We foster excellence through mentorship, leadership, and educational programs, giving you the tools you need to serve our Veterans the best.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•  You will provide perioperative anesthetic care to patients, including preoperative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic administration and monitoring, and post-anesthesia care, in compliance with national accreditation standards. Responsibilities also include providing anesthesia service inside and supporting the surgical intensive care unit, operation room, and anesthesia needs outside the operating room.
