At Lehigh Valley Reilly Childrens Hospital, the primary site for pediatric specialties in eastern Pennsylvania, we offer a robust pediatric primary care network, a full range of pediatric subspecialties, and a well-established Pediatric Residency Program with eight residents per class. Physicians here are encouraged to take on leadership roles, develop quality improvement (QI) initiatives, and help shape the future of pediatric care in our region.

Comprehensive Pediatric Services and DBP Support:

Ambulatory & Specialty Care: Childrens Cancer and Infusion Center and Childrens Surgery Center, both located within the Hecht Family Childrens Specialty Center.

Inpatient Services:

  • 40-bed Level IV NICU with 24/7 neonatal coverage across three regional NICUs.
  • Newly renovated 12-bed PICU staffed around the clock by in-house pediatric intensivists and critical care nurses.
  • Expanded Childrens ER (2021), now the largest outside of Philadelphia, with over 25,000 visits annually.
  • Pediatric certified burn center and Level II pediatric trauma program.
  • Emergency access via MedEvac ground and air transport.

Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Support:

  • Dedicated team including pediatric neuropsychologists and habilitation therapists supporting needs such as toileting, sleep, emotional regulation, AAC evaluations, speech services, and developmental testing (ADOS, DAYC-2).
  • RN and primary care coordination to support the DBP practice with assistance in writing ABA orders, pre-evaluation preparation including labs and habilitative service integration and streamlined workflows to improve access and intervention efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety and experience
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified with the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Fellowship trained in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics
  • A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
