Physician - Internal Medicine

Seeking a BE/BC Nocturnal Internal Medicine Hospitalist physician to join its Hospitalist group of 50+.

Avera McKennan Nocturnist Overview: 

• Employed by Avera McKennan Hospital

• 11 shifts/month; flexible scheduling, extra shifts available 

• Hours: 12-hr block shift

• 24/7 in-house intensivist support

• EMR currently Meditech, System change to Epic June 2026

• Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents through the University of South Dakota

• Procedures are optional

Compensation Package

We are offering a competitive base salary with an additional physician benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 403b plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.
