Avera McKennan Hospitalist Group Overview:
- Contracted for 14 twelve-hour shifts per month. As part of the hospitalist service, the physician group covers at Avera McKennan (tertiary care at main hospital) and Avera Specialty Hospital - both located in Sioux Falls
- Blocked scheduling with flexibility to allow for quality of life
- Total EMR for longitudinal care, EMR transition to EPIC June of 2026
- Seasoned Advanced Practice Provider support
- Open ICU with collaborative coverage with Intensivists
- Strong support of sub-specialists to complement the team approach to patient care
- Opportunity to teach residents
- Established Nocturnist program
