The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service Chief!
 
CLEVELAND VA MEDICAL CENTER:
 
The Louis Stokes VA Medical Center is a two-division Medical Center is Level 1A facility with 17 locations of care and 594-bed tertiary medical center. The Cleveland VA is an academic hospital providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the art technology, medical education, and research.
 
DUTIES:
  • Supervision of a variety of radiology health care professionals and allied staff including but not limited to, physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Serving as one of the principle clinical advisors to the Chief of Staff for the overall scope of radiology and nuclear medicine care provided.
  • Planning, developing, and directing the general radiology, CT scan, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations of the Service.
  • Providing radiological studies in the inpatient and outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and ICU areas throughout the medical center.
  • Participate in Nuclear Medicine and general medical staff meetings, committee assignments, compliance, and other components of an organized medical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MD or DO Degree
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • United States Citizen (Will consider non-citizen if no US citizens)
