Physician - Psychiatry

ThedaCare, Wisconsin's largest non-profit healthcare system, is seeking a Board Certified Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team as Associate Medical Director to support our 19 bed general adult psychiatry unit located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah in Wisconsin. 

• 7 on 7 off schedule (Monday thru Sunday) 7am to 7pm
• Associate Medical Director responsibilities include: support inpatient psychiatry team members, collaborate with other hospital and system providers and leader to increase and enhance patient care in the ACO and community, actively participate in recruitment of outpatient and inpatient team members, help lead and develop telepsychiatry and an expanded Consultation Liaison program and help champion the development of quality standards and metrics
• The inpatient unit is supported by a multi-disciplinary team of an Inpatient Psychologist, Mental Health Clinicians, Occupational Therapists, RNs, and etc. to ensure the unit is meeting the diverse needs of the patients.
• Limited on-call responsibilities 

The Psychiatric group is part of a behavioral health division that includes; seven adult psychiatrists, five nurse practitioners and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors as well as Psychology, Neuropsychology services and a Mental Health Day Treatment Program. 

As part of an integrated system, support staff also helps the physician to provide excellent patient care!
