The Division of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine within the Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Center at Cleveland Clinic Childrens is seeking a pediatric cardiologist specializing in Imaging to lead our existing team of 11 Imagers. The successful candidate will have formal fourth year advanced imaging training in advanced cardiac imaging techniques or commensurate clinical experience in fetal echocardiography and/or cross-sectional imaging, as well as general echocardiography and transthoracic imaging; with a focus and desire to lead imaging operations, education, and research.
The successful candidate will join our staff of 30 Pediatric Cardiologists, 20 Nurse Practitioners, and 21 sonographers in a busy clinical and academic practice. Clinical time will be focused on fetal echocardiography and fetal cardiology clinics, transthoracic and transesophageal and 3D echocardiography, cross-sectional imaging (MRI/CT), as well as general pediatric cardiology inpatient and outpatient care. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology is required. Leadership in scholarly activity is preferred.
Our team works closely with the Fetal Care Center and the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, with dedicated fetal care coordinators and a fetal surgery program. In addition to clinical responsibilities, an interest in teaching and research is desirable with multiple opportunities for both. We have an active fellowship program with 9 trainees. Research is supported by the Cardiovascular Innovation Center for Pediatric and Adult Congenital Research, which has more than 30 research professionals supporting clinical and translational research in our Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Center.
