UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a full-time Integrated Primary Care Psychologist to join the faculty at Benedict Internal Medicine team. Benedict Internal Medicine is an academic outpatient primary care practice located at the UMass Medical - University Campus in Worcester, MA.

This position offers an opportunity to be engaged in the full spectrum of cases cared for in an academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center.

  • UMass Memorial Health Care is nationally recognized for its clinical and teaching programs devoted to the integration of behavioral health and primary care.
  • Our Behavioral Health Faculty have both direct patient care and teaching responsibilities. Direct teaching includes psychiatry & internal medicine residents, supervision of Post-doctoral trainees, medical students and other learners
  • There is collaboration with physicians and other members of a multidisciplinary team in the care of shared patients

Qualifications

Eligible individuals should have the following qualifications:

  • Doctorate in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • 1-5 years experience in primary care psychology and/or medical education.
  • License or license-eligibility by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists
