St. Josephs Infectious Disease department is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The APP will provide care to adult patients with various infectious diseases, including osteomyelitis, diabetic foot ulcers, antibiotic therapy patients and multi-drug resistant UTIs cases. This position offers fantastic support from experienced physicians and nursing staff, with a strong emphasis on training and orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
  • No weekend or weeknight responsibilities
  • The practice is located within the hospital. The APP will work in the clinic while physicians manage inpatient consults and may join for patient visits as needed.
  • Clinic Daily Volume: Average of 15-16 patients per day, plus critical lab value follow-ups
  • Appointment Length:
    • Follow-ups: 30 minutes
    • Initial consultations: 45 minutes
  • Potential to manage inpatient care if a patient is admitted

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of med/surg or critical care experience as an NP or PA
  • Must be comfortable functioning independently, as the main provider in the clinic
  • Training on PICC line routine maintenance will be provided by the vascular access team

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

  • Competitive salary range: $120K - $150K
  • This salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, or other forms of cash compensation. The salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
