The Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care, invites you to join our team as a Staff Physician. This role offers the chance to provide exceptional medical care to patients across diverse clinical settings. - Palliative Medicine consultation for hospitalized patients at UHealth Tower.
- Outpatient clinical care in ambulatory settings across Dade and Broward Counties.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive medical treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and sociocultural needs.
- Perform respectful and thorough physical assessments of patients.
- Prescribe appropriate medical treatments and medications.
- Collect accurate and essential patient information through records, interviews, and collaboration with caregivers.
- Ensure safety by reporting hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, and quality assurance incidents.
- Pursue ongoing education to stay updated on the latest medical advancements.
- Provide on-call coverage, including nights and weekends, as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Education: M.D. in a relevant field.
- Certifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Palliative Medicine (certification required within 2 years of hire).
