James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is actively seeking a full time Infectious Disease physician to join our team in Johnson City, Tennessee. Opportunity details:

  • Consultation service with interdisciplinary team
  • Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, limited call
  • 80% Clinical service including inpatient and outpatient consultations and 20% administrative service including Infection Control and Antimicrobial stewardship.
  • Opportunities for faculty appointment and to teach residents/fellows
  • Heavy focus on quality and ability to serve on committees

Qaulifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • BC/BE in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
  • 5 years of experience in Infectious Disease preferred.

  • Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
  • Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
