As an ER Physician at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Your expertise will be crucial in making rapid assessments, delivering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize patients and ensure optimal care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies.
- Initiate and direct diagnostic tests and treatment plans, prioritizing patient care based on clinical needs.
- Perform necessary procedures, including intubations, suturing, and managing trauma cases.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine and engage in continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical skills and experience handling a variety of emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and make quick, decisive actions.
