St. Josephs Health is currently looking for board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) team. The Pre-Admission Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner provides direct care functions including, but not limited to pre-operative history and physical exams, ordering medications and lab testing, and education of the patient and family in regard to pre-surgical assessment.  Knowledge necessary to perform these functions include skills in evaluating laboratory data, EKG, and diagnostic studies interpretation; skills in assessing, planning and implementing a plan of care in anticipation for surgery for patients and families, while collaborating with nursing staff, physicians and ancillary staff, practice protocols as designated in agreement with supervising/collaborating physician. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible hours, and no weekends, nights, call, or holidays!

Requirements:

  • NYS licensure
  • DEA required
  • Board Certification
  • ACLS/BLS
  • Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $46.00-$60.10
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
