Surgical Pathologist Position - Cleveland Clinic Florida (Weston, FL)
The Pathology Department at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston is seeking a full-time, AP/CP-boarded Surgical Pathologist with expertise in one or more of the following subspecialties: Gastrointestinal Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, or Head and Neck Pathology.
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of post-fellowship, independent-sign-out experience. Strong diagnostic skills in general surgical pathology are highly desired. The successful candidate will join a team of seven subspecialty pathologists in Weston and will be responsible for subspecialty sign-out, frozen section service, and call duties. There may also be opportunities for administrative or leadership roles, depending on experience and interest.
Applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MBBS degree and be board-certified (or eligible) in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology. Candidates must also meet licensure requirements to practice medicine in Florida.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collegial team coordinating clinical care, research, education, and strategic growth of Cleveland Clinic Floridas pathology and hospital specialties center. Ideal candidates would have at least 3 years of post-fellowship experience, but current fellows are welcome to apply. Candidates with skills in general surgical pathology is desired.
