POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient
- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours each week
- Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation (answering service triages after hour calls)
- Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation
- Dedicated nurse
PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:
- Average Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day
- Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
- Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.
VISIT TYPES:
- Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
- Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings.
