Physician - Family Medicine

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
  
  • 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours each week
• Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation (answering service triages after hour calls)
• Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation
• Dedicated nurse 

PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:

• Average Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day
• Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
• Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.

VISIT TYPES:

• Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
• Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings.
