Physician - Inpatient

Trinity Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Minot, North Dakota. Our facility is dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients requiring hospitalization, and we are looking for a professional who is committed to improving mental health outcomes and providing high-quality care in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders in hospitalized patients, including acute mood disorders, psychosis, and severe anxiety disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct daily rounds and provide ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
