Full-time or Part-time Emergency Medicine Physicians - Opportunity in Sunny Tucson, Arizona

Join IES, Integrative Emergency Services, an independent physician-owned practice management group at Tucson Medical Center. Positions available in the Adult ER and/or the Pediatric ER on full-time, part-time or PRN basis. 

Adult Emergency Department:

• Volume: 72,500
• Admission Rate: 32%
• Patients/Hour: 1.7
• Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
• Physician Shifts: Day/evening shifts are 9 hours; Night shifts are 2000 - 0600; 2200 - 0700
• APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
• Adult ED Beds: 60
• Documentation: Epic
• Full imaging services available - POCUS, CT, MRI, Xray, US, Nuc Med
• Qualifications: ABEM or ABOEM Board Eligible or Board Certified

Adult Hospital:

• Beds: 615
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Gold Plus Achievement Award

Pediatric Emergency Department

• Separate dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
• Volume: 31,000
• Admission Rate: 5%
• Patients/Hour: 1.8-2 per clinician
• Physician Shifts: 9 hours (7a - 4p; 3p - 12a; 10p - 7a)
• Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily
• APP Coverage: 12 hours daily; 18 hours daily during winter surge
• ED Beds: 14
• Documentation: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon
• Qualifications: BC/BE EM with PEM Fellowship or combined PEM/EM dual residency or BC/BE Pediatrician with PEM Fellowship or BC Pediatrician with 10 years hospital ER experience

TMC for Children Hospital

• 42-bed Level III NICU
• 12-bed PICU
• 33-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit with around-the-clock in-house pediatric hospitalists
• Specially trained child life specialists
• Full range of pediatric subspecialist physicians on staff

Compensation:

• W2
• Adult ED: All RVU & Quality pay
• Adult ED Nocturnist: Guaranteed rate & productivity for dedicated nocturnists
• Pedi ED: Base pay & RVU

• Benefits available first day of your first clinical shift for W2 full-time employees (average 120 hours per month)
