Physician - Obstetrics

Join Stamford Health and Oula in leading a new model of collaborative maternity care. Were seeking a board-certified OB/GYN to serve as Associate Medical Director, overseeing a team of midwives and clinical staff in both outpatient and hospital settings. Work locations are at our Stamford Hospital and the outpatient clinic office in Norwalk. 

Opportunity Highlights:

• 80% clinical (50% inpatient, 50% outpatient), 20% administrative
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and co-develop care protocols
• Perform OB/GYN procedures including cesarean births and ECVs
• Participate in resident education and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Oulas Medical Leadership Team to innovate care delivery

Schedule:

• 1-1.5 days outpatient care
• 2 inpatient 12-hour laborist shifts
• 1 day administrative leadership
• One weekend call per month

Qualifications:

• MD/DO, Board Certified in OB/GYN
• 4+ years post-residency experience
• Leadership experience with midwives or multidisciplinary teams
• Licensed (or eligible) in Connecticut
