The Cerebrovascular Center within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is currently recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist with interest in providing cognitive-behavioral treatments and brief psychotherapy to patients with cerebrovascular disorders including both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. This position will also provide an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary group of vascular neurologists, vascular neurosurgeons, interventional neurologists and neuroradiologists, advanced practice providers, and other medical providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be proficient in providing cognitive-behavioral interventions and other integrative modalities used in health psychology. The candidate must have experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, and other neurobehavioral disorders. Experience in treating patients with co-morbid disability and neurological disorders is desired.
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program, completed an internship with experience in clinical health psychology or trauma-related focus and a post-doctoral fellowship in these areas.
