As an Interventional Cardiologist at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treats heart conditions through minimally invasive procedures, such as catheter-based interventions. This role requires a deep understanding of cardiovascular disease, proficiency in advanced diagnostic techniques, and the ability to perform complex interventions to improve patients' heart health. The Interventional Cardiologist works closely with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients with heart-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments to diagnose heart conditions.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques, including echocardiography, angiography, and stress testing.
  • Review patient medical histories, physical exams, and lab results to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Perform catheter-based procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and atherectomy for the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD) and other cardiovascular conditions.
  • Carry out electrophysiology procedures to treat arrhythmias.
  • Conduct transcatheter valve replacement and repair procedures, such as TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement).
  • Provide minimally invasive treatment for peripheral artery disease (PAD).

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO who is BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease; Interventional Cardiology board certification preferred.
  • Fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.  
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
