Trinity Health is seeking a highly skilled and fellowship-trained General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Hand Surgery to join our multidisciplinary surgical team. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in General Surgery with additional hand surgery fellowship. This role involves providing comprehensive care in both general surgical procedures and advanced hand and upper extremity surgeries, including trauma, microsurgery, and reconstruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full spectrum of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic hand and upper extremity conditions, including trauma, nerve injuries, tendon repairs, fractures, arthritis, and congenital deformities.
- Perform specialized procedures such as microsurgery, tendon transfers, nerve repairs, and reconstructive surgery.
- Interpret imaging and diagnostic tests relevant to surgical treatment plans.
- Provide emergency surgical care, including on-call responsibilities for both general and hand trauma.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO who is BC/BE in General Surgery with a hand surgery fellowship.
- Completion of a General Surgery residency program.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hand Surgery fellowship.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong surgical skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
